Radionav Sim app for iPhone and iPad

Radionav Sim is an app for radio navigation training on iPhone. The app shows a map with an aircraft and two stations, VOR or NDB. The two highly realistic instruments on the control panel show the same radio navigation information as in your cockpit. You can move the aircraft and change its heading with two fingers, and move the stations around. The readings on the instruments react instantly. This app is a must for student pilots and for seasoned pilots. It helps you maintain sharp radio navigation skills, even if you use your GPS to drive your HSI.

For CFIs and CFIIs, the app gives the possibility to prepare an exercise and then hide the aircraft. Hand your iPhone to your student and have them find where the aircraft is, based on the indications shown on the instruments. And for students working alone, the app can generate a random quiz. The "Help Lines" features add more to the display:
